Received alot of emails today from all over on what to do to prevent swine flu invasion: keep practicing your qigong, which will keep your immune system in tip top shape. From a easy understanding when you practice you create alot of Cellular vibration and stimulate your energy body. If you get sick you will need a practitioner who understands what to do, to balance the pattern going on in your body, there are many factors involved when body is manifested by what we call the sickly qi. Keeping your practice strong and practicing outside are great things to do. Do some walking, which will help! There are some easy Chinese Herb formulas you can also help with this; if interested email and will explain what to do.
Follow protocols issued by CDC for eliminating possible self infection. In China they stopped eating Pork which I would personally highly recommend. Use common sense when dealing with Influenza; don't get scared by the hysteria. Some networks have sensationalized the Flu which really scares alot of people; do what is right for you.
In a nutshell Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine Traditions work the best when combined. Please keep practicicng take it from a veteran who was plaqued with many respiratory imbalances in my youth that Qigong will deliver and keep you strong.
